How does the membership work?

MOONRx is a subscription membership with a monthly or annual subscription option. You'll be billed automatically each month or year for continued access to the workouts. If you cancel your membership, you will lose access to all workouts when your current billing cycle is over. Memberships may be cancelled at any time.

If you snag a MOONRx membership at sale price, you lock that price in for all future billing cycles. If you cancel your membership and sign up again at a later date, you lose the sale membership price. I host only one sale per year on the Winter Solstice when MOONRx has a birthday. :)

Please note, there are no automatic payment reminder emails. If you're part of a monthly or yearly membership, it's your responsibility to keep up with when your automatic payment will process. No refunds. No exceptions.

If I decide MOONRx isn't right for me, am I able to get a refund?

Sorry, but no! All purchases are final, but memberships may be cancelled at any time.

What equipment do I need?

Almost all of the home and beginner workouts can be done with a set of dumbbells and a kettlebell. Other pieces of equipment that I use frequently are mini bands, a sturdy bench or step and a jump rope.

In the Taurus workouts, we use long loop bands, but they're always optional. And although infrequent, there are a few routines that call for expansive space to move about, like a backyard, field, or basketball court.

Do I need a gym membership?

Only if you want one! Each workout comes with a gym version or home version. Please consult this detailed equipment list for more information on how to setup a home gym.

I’m a beginner. Is MOONRx right for me?

Yes! There's a beginner version available for each workout, but if you're new to exercise, you may want to check out my beginner-only program Elements.

Do you give movement modifications in your workouts?

Yes. I do my very best to give as many modifications as possible. Each MOONRx workout comes with multiple versions. You’ll find any modifications in the beginner versions.

MOONRx members also have access to a detailed movement tutorial library. This is where you’ll find info on proper form, injury prevention, modifications, progressions and other versions of our basic movements. I don’t have time to mention these things in every workout video, so I direct people to the tutorial library to pick a modification that feels supportive for their body.

Is The MOONRx Method only for women?

Absolutely not! The MOONRx Method is for all people.

I’m newer to astrology. How will I know which workout to do when?

No worries! I've done all the heavy astrological lifting for you. Your membership includes three workout schedules to choose from every month. Each schedule syncs up with the current astrology in real time and can be adapted for advanced, intermediate and beginner levels.

Should I do the workout program for my Sun sign?

You can if you want to, but that's not how I designed MOONRx. Only working out for your Sun sign is a pretty imbalanced way to approach fitness. Sure, you can focus on the programs associated with your Sun, Moon, or Rising sign, but the best results are found by those who follow the schedules.

What's the difference between the Essentials and Deluxe Memberships?

Both memberships include access to the zodiac workout library, workout schedules, Lunar Benchmark Workouts and Sweat Spell Workshop.

The Deluxe Membership gives you access to bonus programs like Lunar Loading, Void-of-course, The Vault, The Celestial Squat Cycle and many others in the works. There are three MOONRx workout schedules to choose from each month. The Body Spell Schedule is comprised of workouts from the entire site, beyond the 12 Zodiac Packs, and requires a Deluxe membership.

How do I change my membership plan?

At this time, the only way to upgrade or downgrade your membership is to cancel your current membership and sign up again under your new, desired membership plan.

Can I buy a single program?

Nope! MOONRx is designed to be used as a holistic system. Selling single programs undermines its design. Other than my beginner program, Elements, only memberships are offered.

What's a Zodiac Pack?

The extensive MOONRx workout library is divided into 12 Zodiac Packs (one for each zodiac sign). All 12 Zodiac Packs contain:

  • A video introduction to the sign from a physical and athletic perspective
  • A warm-up and cool-down
  • 8 base routines meticulously designed to mirror the waxing and waning moon and the sign's athletic vibe (each with a gym, home & beginner version)
  • New routines are added to the Zodiac Packs each year!

What's a Lunar Benchmark Workout?

Benchmark workouts are a bit more challenging than our daily training. They're used to measure our growth and serve as a touchstone throughout the year. There's one Lunar Benchmark Workout for each sign of the zodiac.

We do a Lunar Benchmark Workout approximately every week on the day of the lunation (a fancy word for the new, quarter or full moon). Depending on the year's lunar calendar, we’ll repeat each benchmark workout between three and six times. Repeating benchmark workouts throughout the lunar year gives us a fun, resonant and magical way to track our growth.

I write a new set of Lunar Benchmark Workouts every year.

What's a Sweat Spell?

Sweat Spells are the spiritual and ritual counterparts of the Lunar Benchmark Workouts. They bring more depth and perspective to our physical training. The Sweat Spells round out our movement practice and take it beyond the body, connecting it with the rest of our lives.

In the Sweat Spells, I offer a myriad of activities to help you connect with the current lunation. These might take the form of meditation, journaling, or creating a body sigil to use during your workout. They're completely optional, but highly recommended.

How does astrological fitness work?

Crash course: As the moon waxes, wanes and as the sun travels through the zodiac, our body's needs and ability to perform change. We're not static beings. We are beautifully complex and cyclical. Cyclical beings need a cyclical workout program and that's exactly what MOONRx delivers.

When you become a member, you'll have immediate access to detailed orientation videos that'll help you fully understand the theory behind MOONRx. No astrological experience necessary!

Can I adjust MOONRx for my menstrual cycle?

Yes, of course. I give guidance on that in the orientation video.

How many days per week do we work out in MOONRx?

That's entirely up to you! Although, I do give recommendations based on beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. In the orientation video, we spend a lot of time talking about choosing your workout frequency and how to adjust it with the moon phases. It's a pivotal part of the MOONRx process.

Do I need to do any extra cardio on this program?

No! This is a comprehensive strength and conditioning program. If you do the program as written and as scheduled, I have all your bases covered. There's no need to do any extra cardiovascular exercise unless it brings you joy.

What are your credentials?

I'm an NSCA Strength and Conditioning Specialist-the gold standard of my industry. I've been teaching in some realm of fitness for over 10 years. I've held many other certifications during my career, spanning from yoga to Crossfit to USAW (Olympic weightlifting).

I'm an expert physical astrologer who specializes in medical astrology, fitness and nutrition. My professional background is in Classical Chinese Medicine and I hold masters degrees in both nutrition and acupuncture.
